Painted on sight in the East Block of the Cypress Hills, my acrylic paint was drying faster in the hot wind

than I could put it on my brush. Not wanting to loose the impression of that beautiful spot

on such a wonderful day, I grabbed my palette knife to speed things along. 

When you paint “plein-air” you draw something new from yourself – I loved it!
